Based off of my character Ren the demon queen. Trying to improve my coloring and shading technique. Experimenting with different lighting techniques with the blue flames.
Created a new action pose for my designed character Ren the demon queen. I wanted to try a single color highlight with minimal shadowing for this piece.
For this piece I wanted to try a more line art approach to anime style. Also wanted to see if I can get a more interesting look to anime eyes, while keep nose and mouth simple.
Using the character I design. I created a more action pose using thicker line art to create a different look.
Inspiration came from a game design concept I had in mind. I wanted to create the main character from scratch. So I started with a bunch of hair style concepts . Then choose the one I found the most interesting. From there I built a bunch of armor/clothing concepts. I also created some godly looking arm concepts to tie everything together. The result was this Ren The Demon Queen.
Vykas is one of the alliance bosses in the video game Lost Ark. It was a hard get as much detail as possible and at the same time keep myself from not speeding too much time working on all the little details. I was also able to use some of the adjustment features within Affinity Photo.
The idea came from one of my anatomy practice poses. I liked how it turned out and decided to work on it some more. Spent a lot of time working on getting the shading down. Honestly feel like it turned out great.
Fan sketch of a character in the Elden Ring. I decided to work in black and white just to work on my shading technique.
Some fan art of my character in black desert online.
After a long break from making digital art. I decided to make a quick sketch of B2 from Nier Automata.
I’ve been exploring demon like creatures recently in my work. To me the way I can interrupt these’s creatures, is just fascinating to me. There is such a creative freedom to it.
For “Servant” i was using a new method of shading and color composition. I really wanted to explore what I can do with gradient maps.
I really liked the idea of creating an avatar that would represent and embody some sort of theme. This is the Avatar of Visage, though she may not have a face of her own. The masks she use to wear, have cracked and merged into the true visage of her own self.
Creation is a game project I’ve been planning on making. The whole game would be 2D with frame by frame animations. This was a test of Idle animation for the main character.
For this piece I really wanted to work on skin tones and lighting. Also i tend to have a hard time with mouths and noses. As for the picture it’s a elf like women looking into the distance.
Flesh and Blood is a creature i invented, that’s made of flesh bits and blood veins and other cartilage. Her white skin is made of bone marrow. Also trying a new shading/lighting technique.
Euphoria is a concept illustration, that takes place in a cyber punk era. Where matter can be deconstructed and reconstructed into different forms. And technology is embedded into the human anatomy.
A quick sketch of a princess, lost in thought.
These are some of the assets for an untitled game that i’m currently working on. I created pretty much all the art for the game. From the tileset to the items and there respected animations.
It's been awhile since i working on with anime style. I decided to give it another go. I do enjoy this style of art, but i feel like i can work on my colors a bit more. To make a more interesting and compelling composition.
Here's another original concept piece. Playing around with the idea of a character living in two different realms (Living and Dead). Also playing with the idea of a doppelganger. I learnt to better colorize my skin half way through the piece. I'm starting to understand that you shouldn't see texture, skin, hair as one tone of color. With shades and highlights, but as a mixture of many colors.
I always found magic the gathering to have some amazing art. So i decided to try it myself, just to see if I can make something close to that magic the gathering art standard. And of course i had to draw one of the most popular plainswalkers Liliana.
I decided to try something different for once. Warframe has some really nice details that you may not always noticed, will playing. Each of the frames has a unique theme to it and Saryn Prime was one of my favorites.
