Gleam is a healer that bends light to her will. Using light to heal wounds of her fallen allies. Her presents on the battlefield alone, uplifts the spirits of the fighters. Thought she does seem to possess godly attribute she is far from being a god.
Gleam is a side project I’ve been working on for a few months. Mostly to test my skills as a 3D modeler. A lot of modeling techniques were used to create her. Such as hard edges, soft edges, cloth, metals, skin, dismembered limbs. Also tried to get the most out of my poly’s by keeping the model at low poly count. It was my first time using Maya’s ncloth for the tabard, hood, and cloth pieces attached to the pauldrons.
Gleam is an original character design. I created the sketches for her. All of the textures were painted within zbrush. UV’s , rig, and animation, were also made from scratch.
Ember is a Zbrush sculpt, I created based off of a reference image. This project was started to help me learn how to use Zbrush and work off of someone else’s artwork. I feel like i like i succeeded in capturing the character.
